Attorney James Sanders
James Sanders is a true general law practitioner who eagerly serves clients throughout West Tennessee and across the State. He is admitted to Practice in Tennessee State Courts and the United States District Court for the Western Division of Tennessee. His career in law began after a fifteen-year career as a professional educator and a ten-year career as an ordained Christian minister.
Attorney Sanders received his Associates of Arts Degree from Coahoma Community College; a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Mississippi Valley State University; a Masters Degree and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Thurgood Marshall Law School in Houston, TX, where he served one term as Vice-President and one term as President of the Christian Legal Society. After law school graduation, attorney Sanders returned to Memphis and established the Law Offices of James Sanders. Referrals and repeat clients have been a significant portion of the firm’s client base over the years.
Attorney Sanders holds to the belief that service is still the price one pays for the space one occupies and that work ethic is important. The key factors in providing effective legal service, Sanders insists, “is to care for people, have a good grasp of the law, and prepare, prepare, prepare."
Personally, attorney Sanders has represented more than 8,000 clients over the last twelve years and regularly invests his time and resources in community and volunteer programs that positively impact the lives of children, adolescents and young adults.
